Nicola Ritchie

Families Pastor

Nicola has been part of MKCC since moving with her parents in 1983. Nicola’s heart is to see children engaged in church and growing in their faith with Jesus. In 2001 she had the opportunity to start leading the children’s ministry at Milton Keynes Christian Centre where she developed team and implemented change. Nicola’s role includes the leadership and development of children and youth ministries, and day nursery. Nicola is married to Billy and they have two grown-up children, Abbie and Liam.

Lisa Ruth

Guest Speaker / Children's Pastor

Lisa is a children's pastor who 25 years ago, pioneered a children's ministry and now has the privilege of leading the national iKids team. Lisa has a heart for families in the UK. She has been known to give away pets as prizes and own a variety of interesting footwear including Heelys and LED trainers! Lisa believes that through investing in local churches and inspiring our kid's leaders, we can change our world in a transformational way. Her hope is to ignite a desire to build strong foundations in the lives of our children and help them to step forward in their potential to be the greatest generation of Jesus’ disciples.

Laura Conway

Children's Pastor

Laura has been part of MKCC since 1992 when she began to attend the youth programme. Laura soon realised that she was passionate about helping others to discover who Jesus was and began serving within the children’s ministry. Laura leads Discovery kids; this includes leading a team of 200 volunteers which now serves on average 270 children each Sunday.

Bev Verity

Pre-School Children's Pastor

Bev Verity is the Pre-school Children’s Pastor at MKCC, she has a passion for helping the youngest in the church learn about Jesus for themselves. As part of her role she also heads up the children’s discipleship programme, DK Groups, which provides weekly discipleship in a small group setting for children from Reception – Sch Yr 6. Bev has been married to Phil for 27 years and they have three grown up children.
